Summer Program

Summer students have many class electives from which to choose from. Summer can reinforce students’ growing mastery of subject matter and is strengthened because of the comprehensive design of our curriculum.  As summer progresses students can review,  learn, apply, and master new concepts and skills.

Water interaction is a fun part of a Downey Christian summer. This includes large water slides, slip-n-slides, water balloons and many other wet and cool water games.

Weekly field trips can include water parks , Los Angeles Zoo, trampoline parks, beach days and many other fun adventures throughout the local area.

Students have the opportunity to participate in many different sports throughout the summer session.  Soccer, basketball, football, baseball, and volleyball are just some of the sports students will enjoy.

Summer gives us more time to spend in Bible study and Worship to develop a deeper connection with God through daily lessons and chapel time

Games are a fun part of a summer camp day and may include educational computer games, video games, board games and competitive outdoor games
