We are so glad you are considering Downey Christian School for your student. There are many ways to get to know us and we encourage you to visit us. Many families begin here on our website, but of course, we’d love to meet you. We encourage you to call and ask any questions you may have regarding our schools. Every family is invited to schedule a private tour of the campus you're interested in. Whether you are interested in Downey Christian Preschool or Downey Christian Elementary / Middle School you will discover a faculty and administration that puts all of education in a Biblical, Christian perspective. Our aim is to provide Christ-centered learning that demands the best of our students in every aspect. We expect high standards in all areas, but most importantly, we hope to produce young men and women with integrity, character and a Biblical Worldview. Admissions Process
Our Admissions Process includes several steps intended to assist families in making the decision for Christian education. You many have already participated by attending a personal tour. We want you to know us well and understand how we partner in education.. At every step along the way, we're available to answer questions and connect you with teachers and other staff members of ours who want to get to know your unique student. You can always start with our admissions office who will be happy to help with your individual process.
The Application Process For New Families.
First we want you to see the campus you're interested in by attending a campus tour. When you're ready to apply you complete our Application for Admissions This application provides information about your family, your church participation, your personal statement of faith, information about your student and a checklist of application elements.
